So, no soaking wet socks after a long run in the humid southern conditions. Also, this might sound strange but these socks are easy to identify after being washed and dried. Everyone in my family (four of us) is a runner, but we all have different sizes of socks. These actually say the word 'large' on the arch area and its easy for me to pick them out of a load of laundry. Although not as nice as a pair of smartwool socks, they are also about 25% of the cost of smartwool.
