I've worn my socks for 4 days in a row to test their potential to be my new hiking socks. They don't smell. it's amazing. I've gone and worked out every day getting ready for a physical fitness test in combat boots so the fact that they don't hold any stink is good. I'm getting another pair. I've run 1.5 miles in them in 80 F wheather and they don't get to hot. Yet in the winter I think they would keep my feet plenty warm.I recomend them for anyone building a dedicated hiking kit or wanting the best sock you can get for the job. You want these tall socks so that you don't feel the thorns pokeing you as you walk around collecting firewood. I like these socks and plan to get more. I bought the ones with cool max too, but have just wore them around the house so can't say much about them. The Merino wool socks were awesome. And their name is cool too. |
