I started with Vibram Fivedingers shoes for running, and loved the experience. Started noticing that my feet felt better when they weren't balled into one lump mass.So I started importing toe socks from China. Thing is, it takes forever, they're not especially cheap, but they are rather thin, and as a part-time bedouin, I can be a little brutal on my footwear. Randomly I started looking around and found this vendor in the midwest that happened to sell toesocks. When my first order arrived, I couldn't be happier. These socks are the real deal. They're thick, plush so. Best part about getting them is that first wear, I feel like I'm walking on clouds, and each individual toe feels nice and snug. The best part though is that a majority of your foot stink (unless you're the lucky 1% that just doesn't stink), comes from the spaces between your toes, which normal socks... They are a little thick, but I can still wear them with my VIBRAM 5 toe shoes. I use the socks every time I train in the shoes. If you own a pair you will soon notice or have already noticed that they tend to smell (worse than Toms, and that's saying a lot!). The smell is caused by bacteria on your feet, particularly between your toes, and socks play a role in soaking up the sweat that feeds them, thus eliminating the smell. After a month of wearing my Five Fingers with no socks, I knew I had to get some to prolong the life of my shoes.I was a little hesitant to buy these, mainly because I have a hard time trusting "off brands", but I am extremely happy with my purchase. A lot of reviews have described them thick, but I do not find that true: they are thin enough to allow a comfy snug into my Five Fingers, but thick enough to have durability and quality. To compare, I feel like the Inji socks are overly thick: they fattened up my feet and constricted them inside my Five Fingers. These do not do that.
