As an interior designer & salesman, I am on my feet most of the day. Having had circulatory troubles in my extremities due to medication as a youth, these socks provide the support needed to keep the pain from settling into my legs--and are definitely business friendly (not like white medical hose, even under other socks. I occasionally must remove my shoes (to prevent scuffing or marking new carpeting or woodwork, for instance)--and these socks look perfect when having to be in front of clients in my stocking feet. Hard to find in retail stores now, so amazon is a great provider--especially with enough ordered to qualify for free shipping. Great basic color selection as well. They are very effective at decreasing swelling and preventing leg pain. They wash well. Don't put them in the drier for longer life of the spandex, and they will actually last for years.
