I find that toe socks, in general, are great for long runs. They keep me from getting blisters where my toes rub together. So, I decided to get these to replace my lost toe socks. I won't lie: I bought this pair because I like the way they look. Overall I like them. I see two very minor drawbacks that made me dock one star. The first is that they do not come as far up on the ankle as I'd like. The size I bought says 11-13 on the package, and I am about a 12.5 US, but they seem like they are just half an inch too low around the back of the ankle. I may get the next size up next time. The second issue is likely a matter of personal preference. The bottom and toe area of this sock is thicker thant the standard Performance Mini Crew I had before.
