7 of 7 people found the following review helpful I liked 2 out of 3 pair., March 3, 2011 By  AZDesertRN (Gilbert, AZ United States) - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Gold Toe Women's Fashion Pack E (Apparel) I recently purchased the navy assortment. They are a thin stretchy cotton blend sock. I really like the solid navy and diamond texture pairs - they are exactly what I wanted. The floral pair looks cute, but the extra threads on the inside make them feel lumpier than most pattern socks. The pattern is even on the bottoms so I don't find the floral ones to be comfortable. I really wanted to like the floral pair, but comfort comes first. I don't remember ever having this problem with patterned socks and I have quite a few in my sock drawer. This review is from: Gold Toe Women's Fashion Pack E (Apparel) I just love these socks...wear them all the time w/sneakers and boots..warm but not sweaty ..they wash well, very soft and do not stretch out...not binding at top of sock on leg...will be ordering more Help other customers find the most helpful reviews  Was this review helpful to you?  Report abuse | Permalink  Comment Gold Toe Women's Fashion Pack E,Navy,9-11, June 19, 2012 By  Nancy "Nancy" (West Carrollton, OH) - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Gold Toe Women's Fashion Pack E (Apparel) Socks are very high quality. However, the color is misleading. One pair of the socks is not Navy but black. The main reason I picked these socks is because Navy socks were needed. Help other customers find the most helpful reviews  Was this review helpful to you?  Report abuse | Permalink  Comment

5 of 5 people found the following review helpful They stay up!, December 3, 2010 By  Susanne S. Jr. - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Berkshire Queen Size Sheer Knee High - 6451 (Apparel) These knee highs have a comfortable band that stay in place. I am 5'10", and most knee highs are not made long enough for me, and end up sliding down to my ankles. I don't have that problem with the Birkshire All Day Sheer Queen Knee Highs. Also, I have no runs in them yet! I only wish that had more shades to choose from. 19 of 20 people found the following review helpful Good for sweat, bad for pants, February 13, 2009 By  The Phaedrus - See all my reviews This review is from: Gold Toe Men's ADC Aquafx Jersey Over the Calf Dress Sock (Apparel) Okay. If you're considering over-the-calf socks, it's probably because you are like me and don't like your shin showing when you cross your leg wearing dress pants. A valid concern. You should know, if you don't already, that OTC socks create extra friction at the calf muscle, which prevents your pants from draping correctly and tends to cause static buildup. These "aquafx" socks are made from a material that, while it does wick away sweat more effectively than standard Gold Toe socks, is less sheer than standard Gold Toe socks, which means -even more- fricton. With these, my shins don't show, but I have to adjust my pants below the knee every time I stand up or sit down. Is it worth it? Still deciding. Hayward (Dothan, AL) - See all my reviews    Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Gold Toe Men's ADC Aquafx Jersey Over the Calf Dress Sock (Apparel) I have to wear dress slacks and a tie to work. These socks cover my calf, don't itch and don't fall down, while not choking my delicate leg circulation. AND they look good. Not being a fan of men's socks that look opaque, I was concerned that they would be too thin, but I was presently proven wrong once I started wearing them. I took off one star since I think they are priced at least $3 too much. Help other customers find the most helpful reviews  Was this review helpful to you?  Report abuse | Permalink  Comment
